GENERAL PURPOSE:

To handle the minor issues at station level & assist in moving ambulances from its location at the time of any break down or accident.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & AUTHORITIES:

  • To ensure that the maximum number of ambulances are on road at the assigned station.
  • Top up the Ambulance fuel tank in all stationed ambulances on daily basis and ensure compliance of complete procedures. (Fuel tank, Kilometer recording, Signature of driver, Timely report submission)
  • To ensure the availability 24/7, in case of any breakdown or accident on road this can exceed to the normal working hours.
  • To coordinate with Field service technician & Fleet manager for arrangement of filter, if any ambulance needs to move at workshop / outsource from station to incident location.
  • To strictly follow and complete the 10 points inspection report on daily basis.
  • To resolve the minor issues at station. Else will immediately inform shift supervisor of Workshop.
  • Following are the examples of minor issues which he will look after keeping in loop the FST.
  • Starting problem (CKP wiring detached / loose)
  • Speedo meter not working ( Speedo meter cable detached / loose)
  • Fabrication loose/noisy
  • Cabinet draws lock
  • Dash board panel buttons for hooter and lights burnt
  • Hooter not working
  • Emergency light not working
  • Head light bulb replacement
  • Tail bulb replacement
  • Suction machine not charging/ bracket
  • EMT cabin lights not working
  • Flood light not working
  • Examination light not working
  • Front and rear AC filters cleaning
  • Oxygen leakage
  • Any other assignment given by the Field service Technician or Manager Fleet.

  • Perform Mechanical / Body Repairs as directed.
  • Ability to follow workshop loading procedures.
  • Maintain full strength of ambulances on road.
