Job Purpose:

To Develop, Implement, maintain and Control Company’s Oracle Applications, Databases and Linux Operating Systems. Develop, Implement, Maintain and Control Data Center & DR Operations of Database, Application Server, Operating Systems & EBS. Keep an eye on technology advancement by continuous R&D.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, Configuration. Patching and Upgrading of Oracle Servers and related products
• Responsible for Database and Application performance, troubleshooting, cloning and Monitoring
• Able to perform recovery of the database, data files, tables, indexes, etc.
• Maintenance of Oracle Servers & Ensure ERP Data Security
• Develop and implement Archiving, backup and recovery strategies
• Support EBS (Database and Application)
• Interact with application owners/developers and/or technical staff
• Ability to complete tasks and produce appropriate deliverable within project time schedules
• Must be organized, self-motivated and be able to participate in the knowledge transfer to other team members
• Conduct Mock Disaster Recovery drills
• Creating & Maintaining Disaster & Recovery Site
• Team player with excellent written and oral communication and organizational skills
• Work effectively with others in a team environment
• Work schedule flexibility
• Provide 24×7 Support
• On Call Schedule participation

Competencies & required skills:

• Apps DBA experience with Oracle E-Business Suite 12.1
• Experience of EBS up gradation to 12.2.x (current ver. -1)
• Experience with Oracle database 9i, 10g, 11g and 12c
• Experience with RAC (Advantage)
• Knowledge of SDLC (System Development Life Cycle), Oracle Database, Data Backup and Oracle Application Server
• Experience with PL/SQL
• Experience with Oracle EBS Cloning, RMAN and Data guard
• Willing to learn new skills, cross train and knowledge transfer
• Experience in Red Had Linux
